In Loving Memory of Beverly D. Weik

       Beverly D. Weik, age 70, of Chesterton, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2025. Born on November 28, 1954, in Henderson, Kentucky, Beverly lived a life marked by quiet strength, loyalty, and a deep love for those closest to her.

       On February 12, 1983, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Beverly married her soulmate and lifelong companion, Charles “Chuck” F. Weik. Their bond was the heart of her world—steadfast, genuine, and built on decades of shared laughter and perseverance.

       She was the proud mother of three sons: Bobby Brinkley of Hernando Beach, FL; Dave "Chad" Brinkley of Wichita Falls, TX; and Bryane Brinkley of Bloomington, IN. Beverly also leaves behind eight grandchildren. Though her relationships with extended family were limited in recent years, her love and concern for others were expressed through the life she led, the values she lived by, and the kindness she gave freely to those in her circle.

       Professionally, before becoming disabled from a back injury, Beverly worked in banking for eleven years, beginning her career as a teller with Chesterton State Bank and culminating as a Trainer with Fifth Third Bank. She was respected for her dedication, attention to detail, and the patient way she supported her colleagues.

       Though not prolific in crafting, her husband still enjoys the warmth of a crocheted afghan on chilly winter evenings. She also had a fondness for koalas, collecting them over the years with quiet affection that added a touch of personality to her home.

       She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Cynthia Gish (Payne), and her brother Bradley Fuller.

       Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton, IN, with Pastor Larry Starrett officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery. Visitation will take place Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
