Betty M. Fuoss

Betty M. Fuoss, age 91 of Westville, IN, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2020. She was born on December 17, 1928 in Brazil, IN.

On January 25, 1948, in Hoopeston, IL, she married the love of her life, Harold Fuoss, who preceded her in death on September 18, 2017.

Betty is survived by her 3 beautiful daughters; 7 adoring grandchildren; and 12 loving great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her lovely and devoted fur baby, Mi.

Betty’s fondest memories were those with her beloved husband, Harold.  Their dream was to travel through America, and they did just that, making sweet memories. She loved trying new foods, and traveling encouraged her to broaden her palate even more. One of Betty’s favorite memories was taking a hot air balloon ride with her husband.

One of their favorite hobbies was bird watching. They would often be found researching the different types of birds that would frequent their yard.  They also had a beautiful garden that they tended to in the spring and summer months.  She was known for picking fresh tomatoes off the vine and popping them in her mouth and they gardened.

Betty also loved books of all kinds, especially a good cook book. She would often be found making delicious meals and baked goods for her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 1 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2^nd St., Chesterton, IN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
