Bernetta (Messer) Praschak

Bernetta Praschak, age 63 of Michigan City, IN, passed away on May 11, 2025 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1961 in Chesterton, IN to Herman and Ena Faye (Amburgey) Messer, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, John Praschak of Michigan City, IN; her son, Aaron J. (Kelly) Sullivan of Valparaiso, IN; her grandsons, Kyler J. Sullivan of Michigan City, IN and Tanner J. Sullivan of Valparaiso, IN; her brothers, Larry (Debbie) Messer of Porter, IN and Barry Messer of Porter, IN; and by many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her nephew, Mikey Messer.

Bernetta was a bartender and waitress for several years. She enjoyed playing pool, fishing, camping, the beach, and gardening.

No services will be held.
