Beatrice Elayne (Leitsch) Beyer

Beatrice Elayne  Beyer, age 74 of Porter, IN, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2020. She was born on February 26, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to William E. And Clara M. (McAuley) Leitsch, both of whom preceded her in death.  

On October 25, 1969, she married the love of her life, John Beyer, who survives in Porter. She is also survived by her loving children: Becky (Ted) Fry of Valparaiso, IN and Kelly (Ron) Lawson of Canton, OH; her adoring grandchildren: Aidan Fry of Waukesha, WI, Madeline Fry of Valparaiso, IN, Aaron Fry of Valparaiso, IN, Nicole Lawson of Canton, OH, and Delany Lawson; and by her sister, Mary Ann (Bob) Hilliard of Renfrew, PA.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Edward Leitsch of Brooksville, FL, Donald Leitsch of Coraopolis, PA, and Gerald Leitsch of Pittsburgh, PA.  

She earned a degree in nursing and was the floral department manager at Wise Way in Valparaiso. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at a later date.
