Annette (Clifton) Phillippe

       Annette Phillippe, age 81 of Merrillville, IN, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2020.  She was born on December 2, 1938 in Attala, AL to Winvan and Lethia (Smith) Clifton, both of whom preceded her in death. 

       On June 9, 1956, she married the love of her life, Bobbie Phillippe, who preceded her in death on July 20, 2017. 

       She is survived by her loving children: Cindy (James) Yon of Portage, IN, Bobbie (Brenda) Phillippe Jr. of Summersville, MO, William (Janet) Phillippe of Crown Point, IN, Timothy (Lorri) Phillippe of Lake Station, IN, Karey Grabill of Cicero, IL, and Heather Richards of Merrillville, IN; by her brother, Reverend Lewis Clifton of Elkhart, IN; her 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and by many other family members.

       Annette attended the Assembly of God Church.  She loved watching Western and Christmas movies. She was an avid reader and read several books every week.  She also loved cooking for her family.

       A private Memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 with the Reverend Michael Bean officiating.  Memorial donations may be given to the family in care of Cindy Yon or Heather Richards.
