Alvina Regina Singer, age 68 of Chesterton, IN, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 23, 1952 in Harvey, IL to Alvin Kaegelein and Regina (Borys) Maslanka, both of whom preceded her in death.
On February 12, 2010, she married her loving husband, Mark Singer, who survives in Chesterton. She is also survived by her loving children: Laurie Johnson, Eric Johnson, Dawn Dawson, Eric Kruger, Alicia Kruger, Ronnie Rago, and Amber Rago; her three step-children: Jeremy (Michelle) Singer, Alex (Rayna) Singer, and Angie (Chuck) Berntgen; by her nineteen grandchildren; and by her twelve great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Madelyn Roswalka.
Alvina loved camping, gardening and crafting. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose.
Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time. A possible Celebration of Life will be held in spring of 2021.
