Allen Lee Miegl

Allen Lee Miegl, age 64 of Chesterton, IN, passed away on August 13, 2020. He was born on October 31, 1955 in Evansville, IN to Albert and Betty (Bitzer) Miegl, both of whom preceded him in death. 

On August 11, 1979, in Chesterton, IN, he married the love of his life, Beth Hammond Miegl, who survives.

He is also survived by his loving children, Jon (Tammy) Miegl of Northwest Indiana and Jenna Miegl of Northwest Indiana; and by his adoring grandchildren: Mia Miegl, Maverick Miegl, Miley Miegl, and Braelynn Severin. 

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Brian Miegl and Kevin Miegl, and by his grandson, Jonathan Miegl Jr. 

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was always willing to help his family in any way he could.  

In light of the COVID 19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later time.
