My prayers and thoughts are with you today as Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ brings you and your family comfort and peace during this time. Phillip will be missed by you, children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews and many cousins. Phillip was a special person to everyone that he came in touch with in his lifetime. I enjoyed talking with Phillip on the phone and when I was down there for a weekend and we both had a good visit with each other. I can remember when I called him Junior and he told me that he didn't go by Junior anymore and I told him that the family members still referred him as Junior. Because since he was child Junior stuck with him all the time. I have put you and your family on my church prayer list for peace and comfort. May God's wonderful loving love be with you all during this time of loss. Jesus Loves you all no matter what goes on in our lives.

I remember meeting Rev. Burke in the summer of 2000 in Sandwich IL, when North Central's "New Beginnings" VBS team was serving! He invited us into the parsonage for snacks and a chance to get a bit of rest after a hard afternoon of working and playing with children. It's a small memory, but left a giant and positive impact. Blessings on his life and legacy, and blessings to his family and friends who I know will keep his memory alive here on earth.
